Good morning to all, As you know I am a teacher for children with special educational needs and one of my tasks apart from teaching is to sensitize the students about these difficulties. Thus was born the project of making a powtoon about autism. A student diagnosed with this disorder arrived at the school and for this reason we decided to let them know how they feel and why these children act in a different way. PRESENTATION

My name is Catalina, I live in Alcudia and I have a two years old daughter called Cayetana. I am a special education teacher. I like sports because it helps me to encourage myself. Singing and dancing makes me happy and gives me energy, and reading has allowed me for knowing myself and others. I also have defects as well: l’m pigheaded and sometimes I am in a bad mood but my irritation lasts some minutes. I consider my job as a teacher very important because my main goal is helping those pupils that need it the most. Pupils are our future and you must fight for your dreams. Any of you are different, unique and definitely, you are special and I know you  don’t want to fail. For this not to happen I will be with you throughout this school year with much enthusiasm for you to reach your goal. Welcome!

WHAT IS STORYTELLING FOR YOU? Storytelling is a way of telling stories that need attentionn in two diferrent directions. On the one hand that tells the story and on the other the one or the listeners. The responses of the listeners influence the telling of the story. In fact, storytelling emerges from the interaction and cooperative, coordinated efforts of teller and audience. WHY DIGITAL STORYTELLING IN CLASS? Because traditional methods are giving way to alternatives adapted to the need and concerns of the students. The future is the new technologies and we must motived the student to do what always been done in the classroom but in a diferrent and more dynamic way.
